October's My Cricut Craft Room's Blog Hop

October's My Cricut Craft Room's Blog Hop

You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not, please start at the beginning.

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's October's Blog Hop.

Collectively, the design team and guest designers have made some amazing and special projects to share with you...over 60 projects are on this hop, but it is in less than 20 stops.

I have several Halloween projects to share with you today.  I love working with vinyl and that's been my focus the past couple of weeks.  I have made some canvas with vinyl sayings on them and a few shadow boxes with Halloween designs on them.

Here are just some of the projects I have completed:

I used CCR to create this using Spooky Font and the Witch from the Happy Hauntings cartridge.  If anyone would like the CCR file, please just leave me a comment with your email and I will send it to you.
This canvas was made using a Silhouette file.

Here are two of the shadow boxes I made using the new Cricut Holidays Through the Year
Iron-On cartridge:

I hope you enjoyed these projects and will consider following my blog.  Thank you for looking!

Easter Projects 2013

Last one for tonight...promise!

My niece and nephew picked out the colors for these projects:

Kait and Nic wanted this one for their house.

I got this one for our house.

St. Patrick's Day 2013

Yep, another posting for today....

My niece and nephew slept over last night and we got to make a bunch of projects together.  Here's what we came up with for St. Patrick's Day:

Valentine's Day Projects 2013

Finally getting a chance to update the blog with new projects I completed with my niece and nephew (Kait and Nic).

We made some Valentine's Day shadow boxes:

Kait decided she liked this one better -- so this is the one her family has.

You can't see the ornaments too well but they are such pretty glass ornaments.  I was kind of glad Kait preferred the other one so I could keep this for our decoration.

It was fun making these together and teaching the kids how to cut and weed vinyl.  They got lots of practice over the last couple of days (more projects to be posted).

Christmas 2012 Projects

It's been a while since my first post. Too much going on in life to get a chance to post on the blog.

I wanted to share some projects my niece and nephew (Kaitlin and Nicholas) helped me make.

These are ornaments we made for family and friends.  The kids had fun picking out the glitter colors for each person.

We also made Santa Ornaments for gifts for family and friends:

You can't tell from the picture but we used two different colors for the ornaments and the belts were either smooth or satin.  So much fun making these with the kids!

We also made several Christmas shadow boxes for family and friends.  The kids got to pick out what color ornaments they wanted for inside the shadow boxes and what color vinyl for the lettering.  They took a while to cut and weed out and get placed on the glass but they were so pretty!

There were more but I didn't get pictures before they were given out as gifts.

We also made a glass block.  Kait and Nic picked out their design and put it on one side of the glass block.

Here is the glass block all lit up -- looks so much better than the pictures show.

That's it for the Christmas projects!  Thank you for looking.
